As a Baptist, I could not wait for this OT Study Bible. Although I prefer the NASB translation, this is an outstanding scholarly work. I own the New Testament and have used it often in Bible studies and messages. Next to my Septuagint and my Dead Sea Scrolls literature, these are an excellent source for research. Perry Stone did an excellent job on being impartial while not compromising the integrity of the scripture. There are a few things I may disagree with Him theologically, but I cannot argue against his integrity and the scholarly knowledge that God gave him in putting these testaments together. This is an intellectual achievement, that does not compromise the inherency of God’s Word, while pointing to Christ as the King Eternal, the Almighty God!

This study bible is so perfect in every way. I was looking for a bible awhile back and couldn’t find one in my local bookstore printed in the USA, so I’m glad this one is. The cover is beautiful and the bible itself is just the right dimensions—not too big. All of the printing is easy to read and not too small. The commentary is simple, easy to understand, and interesting. I learn a lot from reading it. The bible is somewhat heavy, so I have to sit with it in my lap or on a table, which is good. I will definitely want the New Testament also.

When I read Dan 12:4, “…many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall be increased,” I think of Perry Stone. This Hebraic study of the O.T. is nothing short of a treasure trove of revelation knowledge from the Lord, shedding light on these last days in which we find ourselves. I am so glad that I followed the prompting of the Holy Spirit and purchased this book. We spend money on many things of no eternal value: cell phones, cars, etc. Only God’s Word will last forever. Wow. Just….wow. I had good reasons for delaying my purchase of this book and the companion NT version, but what a blessing now that I have them! They’re expensive (I saved up) but when the actual cost is divided up among what individual commentaries would cost, these books literally cost pennies. I also do NOT relate well to the King James translation, but these books are for STUDY, not casual reading. When I study God’s Word, I always look up other translations so now, I have the benefit of my old methods PLUS the incredible teaching insights of Perry Stone. I realize some folks are giving the commentary 5 stars and the Word of God, 3 stars because they don’t believe the Holy Spirit can interpret the Word of God in the King James Version. Come on ya’ll, give the Holy Spirit a chance. I get so excited reading this and know when I start, I might not get up for hours. I’ve finally gotten this bible. I already had the NT, but it took a while to get this one, but it was well worth the wait. I’ve only had it for a few days and have been skimming through looking at many of the nugget boxes and some of the commentary notes and I must say this bible is well worth the money. Perry’s commentary and “In Depth” sections at the end of each book will answer many questions you may have and help to bring much clarity to the Scriptures as you study. With this Bible(both OT & NT) and the Dakes Study Bible, I don’t think I will have any need for any other study Bible in my lifetime. Looking forward to the hours of study that I will be able to get into with the addition of this to my library.

This OT Bible with commentary is a manageable size and weight for studying. The cover (not partner edition) is quality, as is the binding. Pages are perfect in thickness, print is large and clear enough, though some might have a little trouble with blue on blue in some notes, and pages separate and turn easily. A christian since childhood and reading scripture daily, there is so much history and World and Jewish tradition I have questions about as they relate to scripture. Perry Stone does a remarkable job inserting relevant information all along the way in verse notes, in boxes, and at Book’s ends. Amazing!!!! Concerning prophecies, I always wonder if they have already been fulfilled. Perry’s notes often distinguish between what is past, what is partial and what is yet to come. I first went to Genesis 1, later studying some Ezekiel prophecies, much in-between, and, lately, Daniel. I often compare the KJV with more contemporary translations, still using Perry’s notes. I use online reference material, and still compare with Perry’s notes! One thing I would appreciate is a separate Index, as I cannot remember where I found certain information. Now I will order the New Testament Study Bible and am confident of exploring an absolute Treasure trove of insight, Holy Ghost revelation, and appropriate historical facts. We love you Perry Stone, and are so grateful for your faithful carrying out of the gifts and ministry God ordained for you. As country folk, we enjoy your down-home, confident, though humble administration and sharing of what God entrusts to you. You and your family will be saved, and generations will know Jesus as Savior and Lord because of your and Pam’s life.

I love this commentary. It contains a wealth of information. I would recommend it for gift giving to christians of any denomination. Thank you for using the KJV which is the most accurate bible version. I recommend everyone read Riplinger’s books and others describing the countless omissions and changes of meaning in all other versions including the NKJV. Many false doctrines come from false bibles. I suppose one could use this by only reading the footnotes, articles, nuggets, and the book in depth sections with one of the inferior translations on a phone or tablet. Also, christians have the Holy Spirit to give us understanding. Or, just buy this to help this ministry. Then, if you don’t like it, donate it somewhere. Many think that the KJV is God’s only perfect word preserved in the English language. Thank you Perry Stone for using it and for your wonderful ministry.
