JULY 4, 2022 Numbers 3:12-13 Now behold, I Myself have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of every firstborn who opens the womb among the children of Israel. Therefore the Levites shall be Mine because all the firstborn are Mine. On the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified to […]
JULY 3, 2022 Numbers 3:10 So you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall attend to their priesthood. Just as the Levites were set apart from the rest of the tribes of Israel, so too were the priests set apart from the Levites. Let’s put it this way: Israel was set apart from the […]
JULY 2, 2022 Numbers 3:6-7 Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may serve him. And they shall attend to his needs and the needs of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of meeting. Anyone who has worked in ministry knows that it is just that — work. […]
JULY 1, 2022 Numbers 2:31 All who were numbered of the forces with Dan, one hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred—they shall break camp last, with their standards. JUNE 25, 2022 Numbers 1:2-3 Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, every male individually, from twenty years old and above—all who are able to go to war in Israel. It should be understood that Israel did not literally count heads but […]
